How do you extract THC from meconium?

You can use Strata X-Drug B for both extractions with the following sample pretreatment customized for meconium.

Homogenize 1 g of meconium sample in 5 mL of methanol, centrifuge and perform hydrolysis on supernatant. Make sure the sample pH is between 4-5 after hydrolysis for SPE loading.

For SPE, follow the Strata X-Drug B protocols for THC metabolites and opiates.
