What is the difference between Strata Silica and Strata EPH?

Both Strata Si and EPH are unbonded silica. The average particle size of Strata Silica is 55 um and pore size is 65A.  The particle size of Strata EPH is almost 4x larger at 200 um and its pore size is 70A.  By default, Strata EPH cartridges are packed in Teflon-coated tubes.

Common problems people find with silica cartridges are clogging and butyl-hydroxytoluene contamination.  Packed in Teflon tubes, the larger particle Strata EPH was specially developed to overcome these problems.
