You can extract proteins using Strata-X or Strata-XL. Dilute biological fluids with deionized water and follow the extraction procedure below. This method is good for 500uL to 1 mL of plasma/serum.
To a 100mg Strata-X or Strata-XL cartridge,
Condition/ equilibrate- 1mL methanol, followed by 1mL deionized water
Load diluted sample slowly
Wash with 1mL deionized water
Dry cartridge on full vacuum for 5- 10 minutes
Elution with 1mL 70:30 acetonitrile/water containing 1% formic acid
