What is Strata CN used for?

Strata CN can be used for either normal phase or reversed phase methods.  It is the least polar phase of typical normal phase sorbents such as silica, alumina, amino.  In reversed phase chromatography, it is more polar and less hydrophobic than C18 and C8.  Cyano is perfect for extracting polar compounds that are too sticky on common normal phase sorbents, polar compounds from a nonpolar matrix, or moderately polar compounds that lack retention in reversed phase chromatography.
